Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi Note 15 Pro and Redmi Note 15 Pro+ in China, positioning both as the most durable and longest-lasting phones in the Note family to date. Both phones share a large 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display (2772×1280) with a 120 Hz refresh rate, an industry-leading peak brightness of up to 3,200 nits and advanced touch sampling (480 Hz, with up-to-2560 Hz instant readout in some games). The panels also feature 12-bit color processing, DCI-P3 coverage, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and high-frequency PWM dimming to reduce flicker, plus Wet Touch 2.0 for reliable operation with wet fingers.

Under the hood the Note 15 Pro uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400 Ultra (4 nm) with Mali-G615 GPU and comes in 8/12 GB RAM and 256/512 GB storage options. The Note 15 Pro+ steps up the performance story by debuting Snapdragon’s new 7s Gen 4 platform with an Adreno 810 GPU, paired with higher RAM options (12/16 GB) and robust cooling (an Ice-Sealed circulating cooling pump and a large graphite layer) to keep sustained workloads in check. Both phones run HyperOS 2 based on Android 15.
Imaging is a focus: the Note 15 Pro uses a 50 MP Sony LYT-600 main sensor with OIS, plus an 8 MP ultra-wide and 2 MP macro module, and a 20 MP selfie camera. The Pro+ upgrades to a 50 MP Light Fusion 800 main sensor with OIS, a 50 MP telephoto offering ~2.5× zoom, an 8 MP ultra-wide, and a 32 MP front camera — both models support 4K capture and AI photo tools like Magic Eraser and AI Portrait.
Battery life is a headline: both models house a huge 7,000 mAh cell — the largest ever in the Note line. Charging differs by model: the Note 15 Pro supports 45W wired charging while the Pro+ jumps to 90W, and both include 22.5W reverse wired charging for topping up other devices. Xiaomi emphasizes real-world endurance and thermal control, especially on the Pro+ with its upgraded cooling stack.
Durability and connectivity round out the package. Xiaomi fits Dragon Crystal glass up front and a reinforced fiberglass back; the phones survive 2-meter granite drop tests and carry dust/water protection ratings (IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K). Audio uses symmetrical stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio support, and connectivity includes 5G SA/NSA, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and improved GPS — the Pro+ can include a Pascal T1S chip to boost Wi-Fi/Bluetooth throughput and positioning accuracy. A special Pro+ Satellite Messaging Edition supports two-way Beidou satellite messaging and emergency SMS without network access.
Pricing & availability: the phones are already on sale in China in Midnight Black, Purple, White and Blue. Redmi Note 15 Pro starts at roughly $210 for 8/256 GB, with higher RAM/storage tiers at modest increments. The Note 15 Pro+ ranges from about $280 (12/256 GB) up to the Satellite Messaging Edition near $350 — regional pricing and launch windows will vary
