Tecno will unveil the Spark 40 Pro and Spark 40 Pro+ smartphones very soon likely on the 7th of July 2025, bringing significant upgrades to its popular Spark series. Both models arrive with eye-catching AMOLED displays, advanced MediaTek chipsets, and Tecno’s AI features, aiming to deliver flagship-grade experiences at an affordable price point.
The Tecno Spark 40 Pro+ is the showstopper, boasting a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with an ultra-bright 144Hz refresh rate. Powering the device is the world’s first MediaTek Helio G200 processor, delivering a balanced blend of performance and efficiency. The device also supports 45W wireless and 68W super-fast wired charging, fueling a sizable 5200mAh battery. Additional features include a 50MP EIS-enabled FlashSnap camera, IP64 water and dust resistance, FreeLink (for calling without a network), an infrared remote control, and under-display fingerprint authentication.

On the other hand, the Tecno Spark 40 Pro features a similar display spec — a 6.78″ 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED screen — and is powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate processor. It includes the same battery capacity (5200mAh) with 45W wired fast charging. Both models are equipped with dual stereo speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos, ensuring an immersive audio experience.

These devices run on Android 15 and come in multiple color options. The Spark 40 Pro+ is available in Moonlight Black and Frost Silver, while the Spark 40 Pro adds Green and Space Black to the palette.
For Indian consumers, these smartphones offer a premium experience typically found in much higher segments. Features like AI-powered connectivity tools, advanced camera systems, and robust performance make the Spark 40 series a noteworthy option in the sub-premium category.
