TECNO has officially launched the POVA Curve 5G in India, marking the beginning of its new Curve series. With an ultra-sleek 7.45mm starship-inspired design, the device combines futuristic aesthetics with high-end performance.
The phone features a 6.78-inch FHD+ 3D curved AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, 1300 nits peak brightness, and 2304Hz PWM dimming, all protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and an additional 8GB of virtual RAM, promising a smooth and responsive user experience.
Running on HiOS 15 based on Android 15, TECNO has assured users of an upgrade to Android 16 and two years of security updates. The POVA Curve 5G integrates AI functionality with Ella AI, featuring AI Call Assistant, AI Auto Answer, AI Voiceprint Noise Suppression, and Multilingual Support—tailored for Indian users.
In terms of photography, the phone comes with a 64MP Sony IMX682 main sensor and a 2MP portrait camera, along with a 13MP front-facing camera, both capable of 4K video recording. The device is also IP64-rated for resistance against dust and splashes, making it durable for everyday use.
For connectivity, it offers 5G++, VoWiFi Dual Pass, and an Intelligent Signal Hub System to maintain strong and consistent network performance. Additional features include Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, dual microphones, an IR sensor, NFC, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
