Samsung is officially gearing up for its next big reveal. According to a trusted leak from @evleaks on X, the Galaxy Unpacked event is set for July 9, 2025, at 10AM EDT, where the spotlight will be on the highly anticipated Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. The event is expected to take place in New York City, continuing Samsung’s legacy of premium unveilings in a global tech hub.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to showcase Samsung’s most refined foldable experience yet. Early reports suggest a super slim design, almost bezel-less 8.2-inch internal display, and a new 202MP primary camera powered by advanced AI ProVisual Engine. Performance will be driven by the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, backed by 12GB RAM and improvements in multitasking via One UI 8 on Android 16.
On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will reportedly bring a larger outer display (around 4 inches), improved software photography, and similar flagship internals including the Snapdragon 8 Elite or Exynos 2500 depending on the region. Design refinements and extended battery life are also part of the package.
Alongside the foldables, Samsung may also unveil the Galaxy Watch 8 series, including the Watch 8, Watch Classic, and possibly the Watch Ultra 2. Another major highlight could be the reveal of Project Moohan, Samsung’s much-speculated XR/AR headset powered by Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 with 4K Micro-OLED displays.
The event might also see the debut of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, a more affordable take on Samsung’s flip design, broadening access to foldable tech.
