Lava is expanding its Storm series lineup with the upcoming Lava Storm 2 5G, and PassionateGeekz brings you the exclusive look at the listing via a partner’s site. Following the successful announcement on 13th June of the Lava Storm Play 5G and Storm Lite 5G, the Storm 2 is now listed on the retailer site, indicating that its official launch is imminent.
The Lava Storm 2 5G will launch in at least one confirmed configuration: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, with 8GB and 12GB RAM variants expected to follow.

Positioned to take on the sub-₹15,000 segment, the Storm 2 5G is expected to run on a MediaTek Dimensity chipset—likely the Dimensity Chips, already seen in the Storm Play. It will also pack a large AMOLED display, a 5000mAh battery with fast charging, and ship with Android 15 out of the box. The device is also likely to feature a glass-back design, continuing Lava’s new focus on design elegance.
This new addition joins the recently revealed Lava Storm Play 5G—India’s first phone powered by the Dimensity 7060—and the Lava Storm Lite 5G, which debuted the Dimensity 6400. Both devices deliver 120Hz AMOLED displays and 50MP dual cameras, and the Storm 2 5G is expected to build on this success with even more performance-focused refinements.
The Lava Storm 2 5G is now officially listed on Lava’s partner site, confirming that a launch date announcement is just around the corner. Like its siblings, the device is expected to be made available via Amazon India and Lava’s online store at launch.
